Day 1 of 7

Arrival in Tanzania (Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha)

Activity: Airport pickup and property transfer.

The Daily Story: Welcome to Tanzania. Our driver will meet you right outside the arrivals terminal at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), assist with your bags, and drive you to your hotel in Arusha. Tonight, you can settle in, wash off the long flight, enjoy a fresh meal, and get a good night’s rest before we head out into the bush tomorrow morning.

Day 2 of 7

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Activity: Afternoon game drive tracing elephant herds.
Accommodations: Sangaiwe Tented Lodge (Tarangire).
The Daily Story: We pick you up from Arusha in the morning to drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous for its ancient baobab trees and giant elephant herds. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a critical water source, drawing thousands of migrating zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and wildebeests directly to its banks. After a picnic lunch, we spend the afternoon tracking wildlife before heading to our tented lodge just outside the park boundaries for dinner.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park (Central Plains)

Activity: Travel day with an en-route game drive across the savannah.
Accommodations: Thorn Tree Camp (Serengeti).
The Daily Story: Today we head toward the legendary Serengeti, driving up through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands. We will stop at Naabi Hill Gate—the entrance to the Serengeti—for a picnic lunch and a short walk up the hilltop for a panoramic view of the endless plains. In the afternoon, we open the pop-up roof for a game drive across the grasslands on our way to our classic tented camp in the central Seronera valley.

Day 4 of 7

Central Serengeti (Full-Day Game Drive)

Activity: Morning and afternoon wildlife tracking on the plains.
Accommodations: Thorn Tree Camp (Serengeti).
The Daily Story: We dedicate the entire day to exploring the Serengeti. We set out in the cool morning air when predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs are active on the hunt. We will enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park to maximize our time in the field, continuing our tracking into the afternoon to capture the golden light of a Serengeti sunset. Return to camp for a hot shower and dinner around the campfire.

Day 5 of 7

Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Activity: Sunrise game drive and traditional Maasai village visit.
Accommodations: Rhino Lodge (Ngorongoro).
The Daily Story: Enjoy a final morning game drive across the Serengeti plains as the sun rises. After a mid-morning brunch, we journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater. Along the route, we stop at an authentic Maasai Boma to meet the community, see their traditional dances, and learn about their culture. Tonight, we sleep at a comfortable lodge tucked into a quiet forest right on the edge of the crater conservation area.

Day 6 of 7

Ngorongoro Crater Tour to Arusha

Activity: Full-day volcanic crater safari and return drive.
Accommodations: Tulia Hotel and Spa (Arusha).
The Daily Story: After an early breakfast, we descend 600 meters down onto the volcanic floor of the Ngorongoro Crater. This enclosed caldera supports an incredible density of large mammals. Your guide will navigate the tracks to find resident prides of lions, hyenas, large elephant bulls, and the endangered Black Rhino. After a picnic lunch by the hippo pool, we ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha for your final evening.

Day 7 of 7

Departure Day (Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport)

Activity: Morning at leisure and international airport transfer.
The Daily Story: Your 7-day safari concludes today. Take the morning to pack and relax at the lodge. Room checkout is at 10:00 AM. Our team will coordinate your pick-up and private transfer directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to align smoothly with your international departure flight home. If you have a late evening flight and need a day room to rest before departing, please let us know in advance.
