Itinerary
Day 1 of 3
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
- Activity: Pickup from Arusha and an extensive afternoon elephant-tracking game drive.
- Accommodations: Migombani Campsite.
- The Daily Story: Your adventure kicks off this morning as we pick you up from your hotel or the airport in Arusha. We drive directly to Tarangire National Park, a stunning landscape famous for its massive baobab trees and enormous resident elephant herds. In the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for migrating zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and wildebeests. After a scenic picnic lunch, we continue tracking wildlife—keeping an eye out for pythons and lions—before heading to our campsite to set up camp, enjoy dinner by the fire, and sleep immersed in nature.
Day 2 of 3
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
- Activity: Travel day crossing the Ngorongoro Highlands with an en-route Serengeti safari.
- Accommodations: Nyani Campsite (Central Serengeti).
- The Daily Story: Wake up to the sounds of the bush. After breakfast, we travel toward the legendary Serengeti National Park, climbing up through the spectacular Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands. We will pause at Naabi Hill Gate for a picnic lunch, where you can walk up the hilltop trail for a breathtaking look at the endless plains. From there, we open the pop-up roof for an afternoon game drive across the savannah on our way to our campsite in the heart of the Serengeti.
Day 3 of 3
Serengeti Plains & Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
- Activity: Action-packed morning safari on the plains and full volcanic crater exploration.
- Accommodations: Departure transfer back to Arusha.
- The Daily Story: We start early with a sunrise game drive across the Serengeti grasslands to catch active predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. After lunch, we transition directly to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. We descend 600 meters down into this ancient, unbroken volcanic caldera—home to over 25,000 large mammals. Your guide will track the resident prides of lions, large elephant bulls, hippos, and the highly endangered Black Rhino. In the late afternoon, we ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha, concluding an unforgettable, fast-paced wilderness expedition.

For groups of 7 or more travelers, your booking automatically includes either an extended specialized vehicle or a second private 4×4 Land Cruiser with an additional professional guide to guarantee window seats, comfort, and safety for everyone on the rough roads.
